2  Joomla accelerate component / Support questions / Re: Cache Accelerate and Varnish? on: June 08, 2011, 08:57:50 PM
No we don't have any experience with it. But as far as I understand this must be compiled and would be usefull on a dedicated server or virtual.

We will release this month a total new release of the cache and we have rebranded it. It now also support memcached as well.

Richard

3  Joomla 1.5 SEF patch / Support questions / Re: Front Page Blog Layout on: February 27, 2011, 09:52:46 AM
When using the patch this is related to Joomla itself. This becasue the META data is stored at the specific menu item. Have you assigned the META data against the other Menu item also? Each menu item must have meta data assigned.

5  General Category / General Discussion / Re: Extension upgrade for Joomla 1.6 on: February 27, 2011, 09:50:18 AM
No its no strategic consideration, just technical. It must fit and be easy to maintain and we don't want to produce components that must be updated every time the Joomla version updates.

Richard
6  General Category / General Discussion / Re: Extension upgrade for Joomla 1.6 on: February 17, 2011, 05:23:51 PM
We are planning to build the JRE cache for J1.6 (currently working on it, will be ready within 3-4 weeks.)

The JRE Sef patch we are not sure about since the structure is dramaticly changed in the core files. The parameters fields are no longer in XML definitions but within core .php files. So we must see if we are willing to patch these which we don't like to do.

About the PrettyPDF we have currently no plans in upgrading.

Richard

10  Joomla 1.5 SEF patch / Support questions / Re: Joomla 1.5.22 patch and extended patch.. on: February 06, 2011, 09:02:18 AM
Ls,

You need to install the sefpatch undo files. These will restore the orginal Joomla files. Download the the undo zip file and unzip it and upload the extracted files to your server with FTP.

What do you mean? Joomla 1.5? This version for the patch is still up to date. Check the download section. Installation instructions are always the same. Unzip -> upload the files.

12  Joomla accelerate component / Support questions / Re: Clear cache function on: February 06, 2011, 08:59:23 AM
You can put any $_REQUEST parameter into the string. If the task parameter is within it you can used it.

Check the JRE cache debug log if the rules are applied.

Richard

Yes,

Check the configuration of the JRE cache. The cache can be cleared based on frontend and backend actions. See the examples in the configuration.

Richard
