Richard, okay I understand better now the fact is that we have again this : "Warning: preg_match() [function.preg-match]: Empty regular expression in /....................../index.php on line 515"
and it should come from the cookies made by this "weborama module" we have inserted (bottom left between syndication and search box) ??
we do not see any other modification which could generate this warning... Denis

Joomla accelerate component / Support questions / Cookies to support

Hi Richard I'm back again for this question about cookies. In another thread you explained which cookies we had to support for our Rockethemes Template. We have installed a French Stat javascript module and we see again that we need to manage the "new" cookies that this script is creates... is there any rule or simply we need to add in the config all the cookies we see (with FireFox cookies infirmation) ? site is http://www.teck-it-easy.comThks - Denis

Joomla accelerate component / Support questions / Re: influence on a dynamic template ?

Richard, you confirm that : - the problem I get with the 404 page comes from the OpenSEF issue which does not manage it well - so, I need to disable the "404 configuration" in OPENSEF - manage the 404 through a "standard" approach (like with .htaccess) - look if it works with JAC cache off - then configure JAC 404 cache as you said - then check if this 404 page stays "out of the cache" ?
Should I conclude, that all this thread is MORE related to the "404 OpenSEF issue" than related to JAC ? it sounds the answer is YES
Fortunately, thanks to you, we are now able to solve an issue we had not seen before... Denis

have just tested it "Cache Off" with FireFox in fact I have as "Response Header" : Response Headers - http://www.teck-it-easy.com/page-non-trouvee.html
Date: Wed, 24 Jan 2007 10:12:06 GMT Server: Apache X-Powered-By: PHP/5.2.0 Last-Modified: Tue, 23 Jan 2007 16:37:33 GMT Content-Type: text/html
200 OKso, it is a 200 code ? like what is said in the j-prosolution OpenSEF Forum ? now, if I configure the Cache and put it on... I still see that this page is in the Cache repository ? The content of my static page is : Cette page est indisponible. Veuillez faire un autre choix dans le menu général.Nous sommes désolés mais la page demandée n'a pu être trouvée. In the Cache configuration "last box" I have put : /Cette page est indisponible.<br \/>Veuillez faire un autre choix dans le menu général.|Nous sommes désolés mais la page demandée n'a pu être trouvée./iis there any accentuated character that could create a problem ?

Yes, I had and it is working however I wonder if I have well understood what means "404 response header", maybe there is a misunderstanding... does that mean there should be a specific header (title or metas or others) in the page ?
at this time, I have the "cache engine off" and if I type a wrong page, I get the right "static page" I have configured in OpenSEF.. ??

I run OpenSEF 2.0.0-RC5_SP2 and I've been on the j-prosolution Forum to understand what is a "404 header"... as long as I understand, my release of OpenSEF does not manage it ? not good.... I did only what was suggested in OpenSEF configuration : - my 404 page points to a static content article ( I its relative url in the 404 configuration of OpenSEF) - when I get it in the browsers, I see nothing specific in its header ? so if I understand well (it starts to be a bit complex for me...) I need to make match the text which is inside the static "404" page with the "404 cache config" for the things to work ? however, I remain with a wrong 404 page (wrong meaning that it is not with the header it should have) wahoooo.... (i'm lost in space) Denis

Richard, below is the text I have in the "Disable for cache..." bottom box in the config
/Cette page est indisponible.<br />Veuillez faire un autre choix dans le menu général.|Nous sommes désolés mais la page demandée n'a pu être trouvée./i
we have a specific 404 page we use with OpenSef, is there anything to change on the OpenSEF 404 config ?

Yes, I had no much time to check if all is Okay however, this morning I see one Warning line at the bottom (you can go to the site, you will see it too) Warning: preg_match() [function.preg-match]: Unknown modifier '>' in /......./index.php on line 515 10 minutes after above message : it is quite bizarre, this warning is random sometimes it appears, sometimes No... I still did not llok at code in the index.php, will see that after (but I'm not a coder) Denis
