I installed the paid SEF extension, lots of stuff there, documentation is spotty and I am clueless.

How do I get a url like http://www.warriorsworld.net/content/blogcategory/44/79/

to be http://www.warriorsworld.net/news/playoffs/Thoughts_on_a_month_of_pure_magic.html

Del,

The SEFPatch is NOT for URL constructing you must use another component, like OpenSEF, for that.

SEFPatch corrects some Joomla errors regarding SEF and corrects META tag settings.

So just add a SEF URL component to your installation and you complete SEF optimized.

I too bought this component thinking it would make urls that contain keywords. I am very disappointed. That is the specific reason I bought it. I already had all the other stuff fixed. I also was expecting a basic README file with some instructions.

Where can I get Open SEF to use in conjunction with this? I Googled it, and all the resulting download links went to dead sites.
