I know as late as June this product had not been tested or known to have incompatibilities.  Does anyone know if this is still the case or if it is now compatible with SEM Patch Extended?

Do you mean the it should be compatible with sh404sef. This is an URL rewriting component and should be working (not tested). For example at Artio you should disable the META mambo of Artio to prevent that Artio displays META info.
