Hello of hallo,

I have joomla 1.0.13 running on two sites, I purchased the extended patch for both. But now I have a serious problem after patching sef. Everthing works, blogs, components etc... But every single content item gives a blank page on both websites.

I have also artio joomsef v2.1.0 and joomseo(mambot) running.
All permissions according to your checklist are correct.
I uninstalled artio and joomseo twice.
I restored and reinstalled the patchfiles several times, but none of them did the trick.

Has anyone seen the problem before and is there a (simple) solution?

Please let me know, because my sites need some seo-boost (groenegids.nl en deaanrader.nl)

Met vriendelijke groet,

Thijs Struijk

Hallo Thijs,

Can we take a look at your backend? Please email me the login information and preferrable an FTP account. The problem can be cause by the SEO bot of Artio, but I'm not sure.

Regards,

Richard

ok, it seems if i have 774 for chmodd, then it doesnt work, but if i use 777 it works...

is this safe?

this also brings me to another problem though...the sef patch extended has installed, but the permissions all need to be reset to 777 and i cant remember all of the files that have to have the permissions changed

Who has the ownership of the files? Normally this would be the webserver users and then you would not have to set in on 777 (no this is not recommended).

Check the ownership of the files and compare it with other files present...

sorry for the delay....the notification of reply email went to the wrong folder....

the owner of the files are set to the webserver owner, just as you said.

the properties box shows like this....this is just taken from the mainpage.php file

Can we take a look into your backend? Have you checked the server error log file?

What you can try is to set the "Content date settings (HTTP-EQUIV):" All on no. In some rare occasions the PHP version these caused on error because the installed PHP version didn't supported the functions.

hi there...well, its happened to me again, i installed the paid patch and have lost my front end Sad

what had happened was, this is the same site i had issues with up top..

now, when i went to do some work on the site, i noticed that the patch was not installed because of permissions, so, i went and changed all the permissions, installed the patch and its blank again
