I purchased yesterday, went trought install instructions. Installed, failed to install (showing some errors) Huh, oops red again install instructions Cool, set permissions, installed again, successful  Cheesy.

Installing is not supersmooth, indeed ftp layer doen't seem to work with the component in my installation, then you have to chmod trought filezilla or similar. ( this could be a joomla problem as ftp layer works only with some components). BTW, If something fails the button 'reinstall' comes really in handy! it works flawlessy.

Now the site is caching pages and gained performances, though as it is online since 4 days, there are no visitors around for a real test.
No parts of the site seems to have been broken/lost functionality. Even the capcthas are refreshing with default settings.

Highly reccomended - (but still testing  Wink ). I'll copy this post to j! extension - 5 stars.

If you put a showcase section I can publish the url of working site...

now 2 questions -

1. J!1.5 is being updated often, then my concern is how to do it when a new rel. will be out.

Just a guess: overwrite with updated j!file, then reinstall througt 'reinstall' button in configuration? Or we have to wait for an update of the component for each new j! rel. (just like seo patch)?

2. I want to move configuration.php outside public folder... following this faq: http://forum.joomla.org/index.php/topic,122594.msg604266.html , any advise? Do I have to change then the path of configuration.php in cache component settings, too, or leave all as it is?

3. (yes another Smiley )  Any known issues with google analitycs tracking script? I put it in a debug module in every page.

thanks

ricc.

In case the index.php is adjusted by a new Joomla release we will release a patch file for the index.php file which you can upload manually.

Within the config of the JRE cache you can define the location of the configuration file... (see the pannel of the configuration.
