Right after I installed, I got this error in admin (and can't get back in)

Fatal error: Cannot redeclare class _jrecache_config in .../administrator/components/com_jrecache/jrecache.config.php on line 0

OK, I gave up. This component took down my production website!!!

First, it killed my admin backend. Then, after no response to my forum query, I got desperate (this is a production website) and deleted the component manually. I ended up having to copy the original Joomla index.php and index2.php files from my backup to get the front end back up, as the component apparently replaces the original files.

I love the idea of this component, but I would like a cleaner install and faster response times for a program that costs this much.

I'm not giving up -- if someone from the company is willing to work with me, I'd love to get the component running. But until then, I have to have a functioning site!!

We would love to help you but when we are a sleep its hard to look at the forum.

Please PM / email me the details of your website (FTP and joomla Admin) and your ordernumber so I can help you with the installation.

Regards,

Richard

Thank you, Richard. My apologies, I have no idea which time-zone you are in  Grin

I'd like to say thanks to Richard for his really amazing help! After a very frustrating experience getting this component to work on my site, Richard volunteered to log in and take a look around. He completely fixed the problem and provided some great tips for improving my overall speed. This is an unexpected level of customer service you typically don't get. Thanks Richard!
