Richard, the component works right out of the box! Congratulations.
These are more feature requests than bugs, really. See for yourself.
1. I cannot stop the pages from being cached if they are already in the repository.
. my test site is installed in the joomla11 subdirecory, not the root folder of the Apache installation
. I am running XAMPP on a Windows XP computer
. Cache repository overview works nicely, I can see the 12 default Joomla pages listed and they do indeed seem to work extremely fast, meaning they really are cached.
If a page is already in the cache repository, then entering its URL into the "Enter URL parts that may not be cached:" box doesn't do anything. The page remains cached. This could be a problem on high traffic sites where it's difficult to put a page online, go to administration and select it as non-cachable before it actually becomes cached.
2. I like the com_jrecache / repository overview and a nice "May cached" column (you should rename this column to "May be cached"). I wish the icon did what it does on the published/unpublished pages in Joomla. If I click on that Icon, this page becomes "May not be cached".
3. The images which you had included with the component are not linked correctly. The subdirectory of my Joomla installation is not included. You link it to:
http://localhost/administrator/components/com_jrecache/images/caching_box.pnginstead of
http://localhost/joomla11/administrator/components/com_jrecache/images/caching_box.pngNote the joomla11 which is where my component is installed
Same goes for the logo in Joomla Test Site / com_jrecache / cache_configuration.
But really. Thumbs up for this component. It is stunning.
