Version error in Configuration of SEF patch for Joomla 1.0.13

According to Joomla Admin my version of Joomla is:
Joomla! 1.0.13 Stable [ Sunglow *eCommerce Edition* ] 21 July 2007 16:00 UTC
I paid and downloaded SEF patch for exactly this version of Joomla.
Installation went OK but configuration of SEF reports Joomla version error as follows:

Configuration file could not be edited!
Reason: Incorrect Joomla version

Version support within this component: Joomla! 1.0.13 Stable [ Sunglow ] 21 July 2007 16:00 UTC

Reason for the version check is to prevent that incorrect version are being installed since the component is patching core joomla files. Wrong version could messup your Joomla installation.
