Hi folks, thx for that comp. Yesterday I bought it. Only three questions came up, but they are important:

1. how do I switch the language for the footers properties i.e. "Page" to the different languages on the website (this is important)

2. how do I configure the colour for links (this is very important)

3. how do I tell that comp it should wrap the text around images in the same way the website did it (this is critical important  Grin)

plus:
- sometimes the images seem to be rendered in a wrong aspect ratio
- sometimes the first row is indented for some pixels
- the main text is displayed in black despite I set it to be rendered in #555555, please print a pdf at:

Craude,

1) The Page text is in the footer definition. Do I understand you want it dependent on the selected language?

2) Color of the links, never tried this myself. I'll see if it can be done with a replacement entry

3) Text wrapping around image is not possible right now, sorry.

The wrong aspect ratio can be caused by the height and width attribs of the image ....
Indention with pixel may be caused by some 'bogus' html code in the source, can you check this?
I'll check the link. Maybe some font definition resets it to black, although the CSS defines another color. CSS is not interpreted.

I'll get back later to you.

Hi,

If fixed PrettyPDF code for indenting the first row of text sometimes.
I added two configuration items to control the link style (bold,italic,underline or a mix of any) and link color (supply #-rgb-hex value.

The language dependent output of pieces of text is not foreseen so far.  So your best bet is to avoid the text all together, sorry.

I'll sent you the pre-v1.9 release by mail to give it a try.

Hi John,

sounds good. I figured so far, that the text gets reset to "black" after the </h2> tag. For a closer look:

What lines do I add to change the link color?

Also, I would like to put the author name and created date under the title. I tried adding the {author} and {date|F j, Y} to "Build page content:" and it doesn't work. Is there a way to do this?

Thanks,
Amanda

Amanda: no sorry, this is not an option in PrettyPDF. I will try to incorporate this in the Joomla 1.5 version though.

Craude: indeed after the </h2> tag it turn to black. I'll try to fix this in the release of the next version.

Hey John,

would be great if you could fix the problem with the link in the footer and mail links within the text as well (they don't take the colour specified in the back end), thanks. Here is what I mean:

I have done like this:

mysql_select_dbdbname,dbConn;
//mysql_select_dbdatabase_localhostConnection, localhostConnection;

Change the line that errors with the first one... It works without errormessages.
