Am I correct in assuming that the information from the Joomla Content Items Overview page should be taken from the actual article and is updated if I update the Metadata Information at the actual article in Article Manager

Repositoire Page
Article 847 Meta Description = X Meta tags = X HTML Tittle Tag = YES

If if go to the Article Manager and review the Metadata Information. There is Meta descriptions, Meta Tags, HTML Tittle Tags

What is happening is I am using Feed Gator to import a High School Volleyball Feed that I created - once the articles have been created - I go into the articles and revise and/or add the Meta description which are not complete or correct.  Also feed gator does not create the HTML Tittle Tag so that is new and created by me

When I view the page information I do not see the changes and if I go to repositoires it says that there is not any tags or description or they are still the original ones from Gator Feed (depending whether they are any)  - I have cleaned the cache as well as expurged cache

using joomla 1.5.20 - updated seo patch also

Thanks for any help Greg

Yes, you are correct.

For my info: these pages are imported into Joomla content / atricle items. After import the META tags are set through the SEF patch and the META data is not visible? When you do this for none import pages is this ok then?

How do you check if there are META fields set? View -> source with Firefox?

Can you explain it more? How are the articles added to Joomla?

After the articles are added do you assign titles and meta data through the SEF patch component content overview?

Are you sure that the sefpatch files are installed correctly? Try -> Custom META fields -> Generate patch for META fields (this will apply the correct XML files)
Regards,

Richard
