ok the sef_ext rewrite is dropping/not picking up an additional stylesheet generated by the component.. in this case eventcal.

ie the additional <link href=..components/com_eventcal/style.css" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css"/> is not being produced

how it should look - http://kiwibikers.com/kbc/component/option,com_eventcal/Itemid,66/

how it looks with the sef_ext rewrite applied http://kiwibikers.com/kbc/component/option,com_eventcal/task,month/date,1167631200/catid,/Itemid,66/

Ok I can work around the problem easily by applying a template with the stylesheet for that component... but that defeats the purpose of this component.

Ls,

The component SEF extended version is not for URL rewritting... The seft_ext.php files is used for url rewritting for components.

But I don't understand your question fully...

Well ok it doesnt rewrite the urls it rewrites parts of the header section.

What I am seeing happening is that an additional "<link href..." statement produced by the eventcal component is not being passed through to joomla....

ie sef-extended is parsing the component's header code, rewriting the title and meta tags.. but does not parse and append the additional "<link href.." statement from the evencal component to its output

Ok, I understand that the calendar places a style sheet within the head section.

Can you please give me the component name. Will check this out if it can be fixed.
