I tried to install the payed version of the SEF patch, but I get keeping the error message:
Configuration file could not be edited!

Reason: Incorrect Joomla version

I installed Joomla! 1.0.12 Stable (version with additional Virtuemart in it) and my version info from Joomla System Info states:

But still I get the above mentioned error message, please advise me what to do.

I have exactly the same problem. I would be much obliged if someone could tell me which version I should be using if not com_sefpatch_1.012.
