Gallery2 component broken by patch

I'm running a gallery with Gallery2 and the Gallery2 bridge component. When I install the extended patch, the gallery stops working - only a blank page is returned. When I restore the files (back to the free patch), everything works fine again. I'm running Joomla 1.0.9.

Any ideas?

We don't use Gallery2 ourselfs, but we will put it to our test and come back to you.
