I am a user of the paid version of the patch.

Because weblinks has been uninstalled on the site I'm working on, I went through the patch files and commented out all the references to weblinks.

I checked all the permissions, installed the patch and got a message that all was done successfully.

But, when I went to the front end of the site I got a blank screen.

I tracked down the problem to the line in the patched index.php:

$config_sefpatch = new sefpatch_config("Config", @$GLOBALS['mosConfig_absolute_path'] . "/administrator/components/com_sefpatch/sefpatch.config.php");

It seems that it doesn't like the name Config in the line in config.class.php:

$this->_config = new $this->_name();

If I change the name to Sef_Config in index my site comes back but I'm concerned that that might cause unintended consequences.

Any idea why it might not like new Config?

Thanks!

Have checked the installation versions and saw that the you are proberly using Joomla 1.09. This version is not updated yet which causes the error. Will fix this today.

Problem is/was that initiation of the class conflicted with an other class and therefor we renamed the class.

Our appologies for the inconviences.

Regards,

Richard
