Christmas evening the latest version of Joomla 1.012 is launched on the Joomla website.

The SEF patch component for this release is now available for download. Existing customers can download the component through http://www.joomlatwork.com/component/option,com_login/Itemid,44/ (update is free for existing customers).

New customers get when ordered a download link for version 1.011. If you want to download the version for release 1.012 you can login through the URL above. From Friday 12 januari this download will change into version 1.012 and you can download the version 1.011 from the login screen.

Upgrading notes:
If you plan to upgrade your current site to Joomla 1.012 first deinstall the SEF patch component (the orginal Joomla 1.011 files will be restored). Then apply the Joomla upgrade and after the upgrade you can install the component again.

If you have custom META fields you must define these again within the SEF patch config.  Please notice that the you only have to apply the definition of these fields. The content will still be saved and will not be lost.

If you are using the URL version already you must EXPORT the table of the com_sefpatch, reinstall the component and import the SQL of the table again!

Regards,

Joomlatwork team.

This is what I call VERY reactive, just found out .12 is out, came here to ask when to expect an update, and see this post..! Glad I invested the money to buy the Xtended version.

Hi all the joomlatwork team.

I just want to thank you to be so reactive with your client.

As the new version was out, your patch was immediately up to date.

I know now that I can buy component with you, it's always a developper behind the door to help us to succeed.

That is not the case everywhere !!!

Many thanks,
Greetings from France,Pascal

Since the 2.0 version of the SEF patch component you can now assign META and TITLE information to any URL generated by Joomla. This mean that you can assign this to third party components.

Should be working. I don't know SEF advance exactly but check if they use a mambot for the META data....

Thanks for your fast reply.

SEF Advance is only a component. There was no mambot to install.

I will buy now and hope that it will help me to get some nice titles.

Greetings
Postler

Edit : I just bought the component and payed with PayPal. How long will it take till i get the component. Smiley
